The Student Success Coach (SSC) role is an integral component of the National Louis University's Undergraduate College student experience, serving as a guide and mentor to each student entering the program and through graduation. The is responsible for providing intensive undergraduate student support, carrying a case load of students, and serving as a guide for academic, career, and personal success. The SSC is influential, passionate, and goal-oriented with experience working with first-generation college students. The SSC has the general belief that all students have the ability to succeed and be personally driven to change the college achievement gap and barriers most underrepresented that college students face. I am also co-founder of Exuberance: An intentional sisterhood.

I also served as an escalation point for more complex student issues and assisted with lobby triage, group counseling, and providing workshops.

My responsibilities were to assist students with financial aid questions/issues, meanwhile educating them about different forms of financial aid. This includes presentations, brochures, workshops, events, and organizing the external scholarship blog. I was also the Financial Literacy Committee leader for our Strategic Planning committees.
My main priority was for students to graduate with minimal debt and understand their options for financing their education.
